HI,
My name is Max. I work in a startup manufacturing HTPC's and we're in the process of testing win7 and everything seems to be going smooth except getting the ClearQAM channels listed in the guide in MediaCenter.
The tuner does find the channels and i've added them manually in MediaCenter so they show up in the guide but there is no info, just the channel number.
I know I can manually map them so I will have the info in the epg but there are about 380 Clear QAM channels coming through the cable and it would take me forever to do this. Not to mention having to do it at every install we do !!
So is there a way to fix the epg other than manually ?
If there is no other way but manually, is there a way I could save that whole setup and maybe use an xml file or some type of script to back up the whole lineup and the mapping so it can be restored at a later time or on another machine ?
Maybe edit my own *.mxf files to be loaded on another machine ??
Do any of you guys know how the epg uses the mxf files?
If I edit one of those mxf files, which fields should I Modify ?
How does MediaCenter store your lineup and mapping in those mxf files ?
I'm in Miami, FL, USA trying to use Comcast Digital Cable with an Avermedia Volar-MAX usb tuner.
Thanks in advance.
Bluezmax.
