I currently have the creative GD580 speaker system which I have had for a few years now but I am not happy with the quality of the sound.
I cant decide to go with a seperate amplifier and speakers or get the logitech z5500.
I also have an xbox and a wii.

My budget is £250.

What do people recommend?
Also is it worth upgrading my sound card? I have a creative labs usb external live 24bit soundcard.

Looking to upgrade my receiver to get surround sound. I mainly play HD movies with DTS so it is important that I have all the latest decoders in my receiver. I am currently looking at the Panasonic VSX-819H-K.
