    Motherboard to solve lip-sync issues??

With the increasing popularity of the LCD TV's and HTPC's lip sync problems are more and more common these days. And solving this problem requires a AV receiver where an audio delay can be programmed, or it supports HDMI 1.3a or you have to play with some settings from the decoders or........

More and more motherboard support HDMI and some even 1.3. But none of them mention it supports the lip-sync protocol from the HDMMI 1.3a specification. If a mortherboard supports HDMI 1.3a, does it automatically solve lip sync issues? If yes, why doen't they mention it? If no, why not?

I expected that such a motherboard was already pretty common, but I just can't find any information regarding motherboards and lipsync issues.

All information and comments are welcome
