No Guide Data for Digital Cable

    I'm running Win 7.
    Hayward, Comcast (Upgrade, Digital)
    ID: 186073568
TV Signal: Digital Cable Clear QAM
    Language: English
    End Date 6/25/2009 8:00:00PM
    Zap2It

The channels that I would be able to get OTA I have data until the 25th.  The extended channels I don't have any data left.  When setting up my channels I also have the option of Hayward, Comcast (Digital).  I've tried both and get the same exact results.

When I try to update the guide, this is what the log says:
The NetworkMetadata package is not available.

    Thanks

what do you mean by extended channels?

    can you provide an example?

edit: what is your postal code? the headend number you gave me (186073568) is a Cable headend but your post is talking about OTA.

I have data for local channels until June 25th at 8pm (not exactly sure on time).  Channels for extended cable such as Discovery Channel, History, TNT, TBS.... all these I ran out of data about a week ago.

My zip code is 94545.  I have and use comcast cable.

All channels I can tune with no problem.  When I go into Settings -> TV ...... and manually update the guide I get an error after maybe 30 senconds to a minute saying the guid couldn't be updated, and check the logs.  The error I get is in my first post.

ok, justs for clarity, did you try recently? The reason I ask is that I just set up my machine for your postal code and i'm able to pull down guide data through 7/6.

I've already tried that a couple times. There are three options for Comcast, 2 of which are for digital cable, and I've tried them both. But I'm trying again.

Ok, I don't know if this helps at all....But, I did some digging.

I found where the epg data gets downloaded to: c:\programdata\Microsoft\eHome\Packages\

It downloads 2 files in this directory
    EpgListings.mxf
    Directory.mxf

The Epg file is 1kb in size and the Directory file is 11kb.
Then in the EpgListings\EpgListing it downloads another file 28501471_LIstingData.mxf. This file is 22,717 KB.

    So maybe this helps some?
    THanks

    So, no more help?

It appears files are being downloaded, but can't run....I really don't want to have to format my machine and start over.  I can't say when the issue actually started, but I know for sure I didn't make any changes to my machine between the time it worked, and stopped working.  I know this because I haven't made any changes since I built it, which was right after Win 7 RC came out.
