"copy protected" recordings, machine doesn't recognize that it actually records a program

    Hi,

I'm using Vista SP1 Ultimate and over the last weeks i have a "copy protection" problem with some recordings without changing anything on the PC (install software, updates etc).
I'm using analog PAL antenna signal and I'm pretty sure that the channels here in Greece don't even know what a copy protection flag is and mediacenter.

It seams that the actual recording happens but the machine doesn't recognize that its on a recording state. If i go in recordings i can see saying "copy protected" and "program is currently recording" but the LCD of the computer has no "REC" display and if you minimize the VMC you don't see the red dot on the tray so the machine doesn't know its recording thus it hybernates after a while (even the M StandBy Tool says no recording).

If i stop the recording and hit on play the recording plays fine, if a reboot the machine and record the same program then everything is working as it suppose to be (red dot in tray and everything).

Any ideas how i can solve this, it makes recordings totally unreliable

    thank you
