Does it work with extenders at all? I am interested in helping with extender support.

Yes. It works with Xbox 360 right now. We're making changes to support DMA2100 extenders as well.

I have a DMA2100 and DMA2200 and have not been able to get the existing plugins to work for me. I am at work but was able to remotely install on my vmc I will test when I get home. I like that the play stop page looks like native VMC.

OK, installed it and went to extender on xbox 360, ran the program, but it is stuck with:

    "Waiting for Media Servers..."

This also happens on the VMC in Vista.

Btw i have Tversity installed on Vista 32 build 6002

If it works on Win7MC, I'll give it a try this week. I've got PlayOn software and two X-Box 360's and two DMA-2100's.

It seems to have a problem with TVERSITY... I have both tversity and playon installed. Tubecore stalled at "Waiting for Media Servers..." once I stopped the tversity server it found both playon and my homeserver.  Everything worked perfectly on the mediacenter pc but not on my dma2100 and 2200 extenders. when I try to play a video after some time it say's " there has been a critical component failure.... can not play video"

Still trying to figure out the DMA2100 issue.

Alpha 2 will have an option to stream MPEG video from PlayOn.

The TVersity issue should be fixed by this weekend.

    Thanks for your help!!

I guess what I am reading here is that any users that have either a Linksys DMA 2100 or 2200 they should wait?

I have a Linksys 2200 and am excited to help in any way that I can...

The Linksys DMA2100 and 2200 issue is being worked on right now. We think the problem is that the DMA 2x00 doesn't support WMV8 video, which is being streamed from PlayOn.

So there will be an option to have tubeCore stream MPEG video to extenders in Alpha 2, due out today or tomorrow.

I am going to give this a try as well. I have an HP MediaSmart Connect and, according to the docs http://is.gd/xkvx, it only supports wmv9 and vc1. So looks like MPEG will be needed for this one too. I haven't tried a WMV8 file, however.

Will try it as soon as it supports the DMA-2100.  I already have Tversity, and run 5 extenders under VMC.
