As stated I am running windows 7 beta release. My ati digital cable tuner shows up under network devices just like in vista however when I first ran MC, it said that my device needs some software and it wont download it. Any ideas? Also I skipped that setup and now when I try to setup lvie tv it says no tv tuner found.

You need to insall this hotfix...KB961367. At least it worked for me, I was having the same issue. But now I need to enter the activation key to use the tuner. If I try the key that cam with my PC it does not work. Has anyone been able to use the ATI cable card tuner in 7?

Could it be that Win7 has a different activation code for cablecard than Vista? Hope that isn't the case for the final release, we'll be back in the OEM mess again.

Thanks so much this did work. I dont have an activation code since I am using it for OTA only :) Good luck with the cable card for you guys though. I have had no issues with WMC yet and I like the ATSC guide it actually works right out of the box unlike vista needing hte hack. Also I am not sure how but I get my channels then I do in my vista side. if I tune say channel 33 (HD16 remap) on vista i cannot get it where on my windows 7 it works good with 75% quality.
