Sorry for the repost, I'm thinking this is the better thread to ask this...

For the last couple months since I rolled out Small Business Server 2008, the only function I can not seem to get to work is my Xbox extender.  Everything tests perfectly, I've tried clearing the certs, disabling the firewall domain profile, changing the router, the only difference is Small Business Server 2008, when I was running SBS 2003, it worked just fine.

I've also tried a freshly formated laptop connecting to the xbox but it always errors out "extender did not connect" and "xbox 360 unable to prepare a connection".

Has anyone else gotten an Xbox 360 extender to function on a SBS 2008 environment?

Update:

I have 2 workstations attempting to interface to the xbox extender, a laptop and my desktop.  I used the laptop for testing purposes, here's what I did:

1. Tested extender on laptop joined to domain (unsucessfull)
2. Disconnected laptop from domain and attempted to connect extender again (success)
3. Connected the laptop back to the domain and tried to start xbox extender which failed with the same exact message i've been experiencing. 

So, it's definalty something about Small Business Server 2008, can anyone possibly point me in the right direction?  I have a support call into microsoft SBS 2008 team but haven't heard from them yet.  Someone must know something about extender and 2008 domains, right?

Here's some information about my environment:

SBS 2008 Standard 64bit Server
Vista Ultimate 64bit Desktop
Vista Ultimate 32bit Laptop

FIXED!!!

I spoke with Microsoft SBS support and they told me to drag the workstations GP Object in AD Users & Computers from the SBSComputers to the SBSServers group.  Restarted the workstation and that fixed the issue!

No problem. I figured it out. Just as you said. I was looking in the wrong place to start. Had me confused.
