    Problem

I've just bought a new PC (running Vista) and I am new to WMC. I am using a Fly TV Prime 34 tv card and the monitor is on a Radeon X1550 series. I have 2 gigs of Ram and an Intel Pentium  4 CPU 3.20 Ghz. I'm hooked up to an analogue tv. (terrestrial) I live in Ireland.

On my Tv cards own software (Lifeview)  I can view the TV stations with no problems as I did on the old PC, (it was XP) but when I tuned the stations in on WMC I got the channel sound  and a blue screen comes up with the message...."Loss Of Signal. Windows Media Centre has stopped capturing data due to the low rate  in the TV signal. This may be a temporary situation but if it persists make sure the cable for the tv signal is connected properly, restart computer and then try tuning to a channel."

Can anybody help me please? This is me third time posting this query and nobody so far has even repiled with any hint of advice!

    Re: Problem

Well, to start, that's not a Media Center- approved tuner (read:  no hardware encoder, no MCe2k5 or Vista drivers, etc.)
Can you still return the card?  If so, that would be best, and then get yourself a 'proper' tuner (w/ hardware encoder.)
