TV out / Black & White

(Sorry for double post, but other topic was in wrong section of the forum I think)

    Hi guys,

I'm having a problem with connecting my TV out to my TV..
It always turns out black and white.

I'm not a newbie,.. It has always worked on my normal Windows Xp pro.. with the composite cable.
I installed MCE2005 and tryed connecting but it always turns out black and white, Clone / Dualscreen / etc.. all the same. I have image on my TV, but its allways B&W.
Software is configured allright.. connection + PAL/B (tryed NTSC aswell) but no luck.
Even tryed connecting with S-Video.. Same problem.

Tested several NVIDIA drivers.. No luck
Strange thing is,.. It has allways worked!!?

    What goes wrong ??

    Info:
    PC =
    Intel dual Core 6600
    Nvidia 8800GTS
    2Gb ram

    Hope anyone can help.. Thx

Are you using a Scart cable?

If so check the settings on your TV. Scart supports composite, S Video and RGB. However, you may have to tell your TV which option to use for a particular AV inout and not all AV inputs might support all of the options. On my TV only one (the primary one that I use to connect my VCR and DVD) supports all three. One supports Composite and S video only (the one that on my TV is intended for camcorders and that I use for my HTPC). The last one supports RGB and Composite only and is the one that I use for my Sky satellite digibox. In each case I need to tell the TV which input option to use and I can add alternate options for the same input as different channels. If I use the wrong settings I get black and white or black and red.
