Do any of the V2 Extenders (besides X360) support 3rd party plugins? Such as; MyMovies, WebGuide, Transcode360, etc. I'm under the impression that the new Linksys and D-Link extenders do not have the capability of having their firmware changed in any way.

Sorry if this has been asked before but I couldn't find it thru a search of TGB.

All Extenders support plug-ins that were developed using the MCE SDK (a few exceptions there, technical mainly) and that don't require local resources (CD drive, USB port, keyboard/mouse, etc) to work.

Edit: All the plug-ins cited above work fine on Extenders.

Thanks for the quick reply, that helps some in my decision for a either a new XBOX360 or a Linksys DMA2200.  I'm now leaning towards the Linksys, since it has native DIVX and XVID support and should be a lot quieter than a 360.
