Best Wireless mouse and keyboard for Media Center? With Sideshow device?

I'm looking to purchase a new wireless keyboard and mouse for my media center PC that I moved from my study in to my lounge. What recommendations does anyone have?
Also I have been thinking about maybe getting a keyboard with a sideshow device on it? I'm sure I've seen some keyboards with sideshow devices or did I dream it?

This is the kind of keyboard I am looking for here

    many thanks.

I have one of these, and to be honest, it works quite well.  There is a bit of a delay when you haven't used it for a while - eg, say you are watching a tv prog and decide to use the kb to change channel - you press a key/wiggle the trackball and it takes a few seconds for it to 'wake up'. This could be a setting with my machine I guess.

    Kind Regards,

Another one from Trust, I like the idea of the integrated trackball as your mouse.

Perixx have some other media center keyboards on their website
Not badly priced at £32 either, might pick one of these up.

Any other brands or models out there?

Another thought what batteries does the Perixx keyboard use? How often do you have to re-charge them?

This is the one I have.

    You don't need a mouse.

I am really happy with it.

    Hey wpbguy

that't the Logitech diNovo edge... I've also put my eyes on it.
    Is it confortanble?
I know it's BT 2.0, is a dongle provided? Can it be used as normal BT dongle?

A bit pricey but definitely stilish...

Yes, it comes with a "Mini Receiver", that only works with the keyboard.
The keyboard will work with Bluetooth also.

Yes, it is a bit expnsive, but I think I paid around $120 on eBay.
It has already paid for itself in batteries.

It'scheap since Sony carges $400 for the VGP-XL series keyboard.
Of coarse they have a new one, now that have discontinued
The DLS. It has no pointing device anyway.

It is very comfortable, but it is a bit heavy.
It's ok if on something desk, lap... ,but I hold it up in
one hand and thpe with the other often. My arm gets sore!

    Correction!

I wonder why Logitech does not provide this info?

"There are two modes the dongle works in. Embedded and HCI. and by default the embedded is working.. which emulates a USB device so it seems to your PC that your using a normal USB mouse/keyoard..

To switch modes, hold the little red Button on the USB BT mini-receiver as you plug it into the USB port, and hold it for 5 seconds."
