The problem is that I haven't many time to manage MusicBorwser (I have to finish my Phd thesis).
Thus I won't develop major feature until Q2 2009.
Nevertheless, I opened the code and everyone can add some features.
Also, I can fix small bugs or add some small modifications.

Concerning your request:
1) A search function is always possible. This requieres many worksbut I will think about it.
2) I think it's not possible because hotkeys are not available to MCML developers (even a right click can't be handled)
3) Possible but too many works for me...

Have a short question:
When I click play all then is the order in the playlist not the same
as in the folder I want to play.
Is that a bug ?

great app except when clicking play all  or add to queue the first time on an extender it creates and plays a playlist file, but u can add tracks to the queue like normal after that. which isnt very user friendly and doesnt allow you to change track inside the playlist.

I take it this was a work around but any change this is being worked on?

your plugin looks even good to be used as a TV Show Browser to!

Newb question here - I have my album art as folder.jpg's but they dont display in folder view list or thumbnails or poster , but when I select an album they appear OK.

Is there a setting I can change to have the art visible in folder view?

 

 

Great plug-in. One minor suggestion: After adding a song to the queue, it would be nice to be placed back into the previous browsing folder instead of the now playing queue. This might be more useful to most people and would also mimic the normal media center player situation. This allows people to easily keep adding tracks to a queue instead of having to backtrack twice after adding each song.

Quick question - where do the playlists get stored that you create in the Browser plugin?  They are easy to create and save.....just where do they show up? I can't find them in anywhere in VMS- Music, Media Player or the Browser plugin.  My assumption is that I'm just not looking in the right area.  Thanks for making this plugin....it is extremely helpful for large music collections.

Unfortunately I have an Extender DMA2200, then unfortunately you can not just play a folder. There will always be only the first folder play.

Can you still do what?

what i do for the Extender Linksy DMA2200

I go to

C:\Users\Mcx1-KELLER\AppData\Roaming\MusicBrowser

 

I open „MusicBrowser.config"

 

I Edit this so:

  <InitialFolder>\\192.168.178.21\1 Alles</InitialFolder>

  <Lang>ge</Lang>

  <TransparentBackground>False</TransparentBackground>

  <DefaultView>List</DefaultView>

Result.

- MusiBrowser has become very slow.
- The playlist is still empty only one Track is in it. I Think this is the problem 
- There is only one song after another played = OK
- Unfortunately I can not forward or backward jump


Maybe you have another idea?
