The source should all be on SourceForge

I'm not a developer, are there any developers here wanting to take this project forward any?

    Thanks

Hi there, I am the developer of ngRC... And I just wanted to give you a sign of life ;-)

At the moment, the project is going on a little bit slow, because there is another Open Source project I am still working on (agorum core)...

There is great feedback in this forum, thanks for that ! It would be great if someone could write down all request on ngRC (what do you want to see in the next version), so that I could concentrate on that...

    Thanks for feedback!

Hi, many thanks for the update, very glad to hear this is still a work in progress! I'll try and put a list together of the issues I found and the feature requests that I have. Do you have an email address we can send them too or should we use the www.sourceforge.net/projects/ngrc site?

    Thanks again.

Would be great, if you use the sourceforge Page, then we have a central place to go to....

Worked first time. Great little (!) app. It'd be good to include DVD control. It might as well be full-function.

how about adding this functionality.   http://rc.hot.is/home     it allows you to control other devices through usb-uirt so you could turn on other devices too.  that would be perfect.

WHS Quad Core, 3GB RAM, 2 HD PVRs, 3.5TB Storage and growing. 42 inch LCD and 92" Projector.

    Hi,there!

great little app. with some bugs that have been already discussed.

I like music portion of it as it seems that it is the most developed option right now. Is it possible to in the near future be able to access media center add-ins  from within this>?

    thanks

Has anyone created any other skins for this app? I keep meaning to but can never seem to find the time for it!

This is a wonderful app and it's going to allow me to do one of the things that I want my MCE to do.  Only one problem.  I can't see it on my PDA...I have a Dell Axim and while the remote control appears and works perfectly on my laptop, when I open it on my PDA, you can't see anything except the MCE logo in the corner and the background.  Everything else is covered or simply not showing...any solutions?

Re: ngRC - next generation Remote Control (use your PSP or iPhone as Remote-Control)

I really like where this is going.  My two requests are as follows:

    1.  In Music, please allow sort by "album artist" as this makes it much easier to find an artist.  My artists are populated with so many extra listings because of tracks that have multiple artists.  A "album artist" sort would help narrow things down to find a specific album

    2. Please allow sorting by "album artist" after choosing a genre, for the same reason listed above.

Does this have any Windows Mobile functionality?

I would love to use it on my HTC Touch.

Re: ngRC - next generation Remote Control (use your PSP or iPhone as Remote-Control)

So I had a thought, I have a second monitor on my HTPC case, and it's touchscreen, could I actually run this on the same computer that is my MCE system and control media center from the 7" touchscreen?

It would also be handy to have the album/video info display on that monitor as well.

Re: ngRC - next generation Remote Control (use your PSP or iPhone as Remote-Control)

ngRC is a HTML page loaded in your browser. You'd be able to drag a browser window onto that second monitor and have it there. However, I believe that Media Center running fullscreen messes with secondary displays because it has to take precedence of all other windows.

Re: ngRC - next generation Remote Control (use your PSP or iPhone as Remote-Control)

When I get some time I'll have to try it out. I know it steals focus, but programs running on the other monitor do work. I currently just have the sidebar clock.
