    Ok, thanks for the update.

If you notice a pattern to when it is crashing, please let me know.  Also, I'll try to build in some better error checking/handling for the next version to avoid a crash like you're getting.

One other thing, you copy/paste the contents of your MCEMultiMon.ini file here?  There could be something weird going on in there that could lead to errors.

    Thanks.

First close the app, then under the [Screen 2] section try changing the "Y Offset=-0" to "Y Offset=0"  (get rid of the "-").

I kind of doubt that would make a difference, but worth a shot.  Everything else in there look ok...

I've been going through the code adding a lot more error checking (even though it is in places that really shouldn't ever have errors, but just in case).  When I'm done I'll put it on one of my 32-bit systems and test it out, then I'll post the update.  It might not be until next week though (gonna be a busy rest of the week/weekend for me).

I have seen this error a few times before when using MCE Multi Mon.

However it's happened twice today both times when I click on Multi Mon and Close Media Center the error appears and then the Multi Mon icon from the system tray disappears.

    Have you seen this before?

    Thanks

I have been getting this a lot now too. I don't know why but it started happening recently.

OK, maybe I just need to get rid of the close button. Stick out tongue [:P]

Next week I should have a new beta that will hopefully address this, just don't have time to do it right now - real work is getting in the way.

Does anyone know if this has been fixed/planning to be fixed in Windows 7? I would love not to need this.

    Re: Multiple Monitor support.

    Sir !

    Absolutely perfect !!!

Works like a charm, & I cannot thank you enough for relieving me of the frustration I've been experiencing with not being able to enjoy full screen MC on my Aquos TV while working on my PC.  I tried everything & can't get over how easy it was (thanks to you) & how well it works.

    sincere thanks,

    Philip T

    Re: Multiple Monitor support.

Thanks for the feedback monkey, philip, and pagan. Smile [:)]

shawnmos, I don't think anything will change with this for Windows 7 (though I'm not positive); it would require a change in the way DirectX works with the mouse, and I doubt there are enough people that have run into this problem for MS to put much time/money into it.  I too would love not to need it though.

cw-kid, I haven't forgotten about you, I've just gotten really busy with work.  I have worked on the code a bit, but I still haven't been able to reliably reproduce the problem yet, so I don't know exactly where to look, or if I've fixed it or not (I have been putting in a lot more error checking for things that could happen in rare cases).  I'm not sure when I will get the next version out, but if you notice any patterns to the error, please let me know, as that would help a lot in tracking it down.
