Re: Vista Guide DirectTV Data for FoodTV wrong

Thanks all for the information.  We are working to identify what the source of this issue is.  It does not seem to be an issue with the data as first thought.  I will keep you updated as information becomes available.

    Thanks

    J

Re: Vista Guide DirectTV Data for FoodTV wrong

Good news is we are getting traction on this issue.  Testers have been able to reproduce the error consistently and the developers are taking a look.  This appears not to be a data issue as most of you already figured out but in how MCE responses to a guide refresh.  Best suggestion at this point is to follow Mr. Millers work around ( http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/thread/242798.aspx ).

Thanks to all of you that participated in identifying this issue.

Re: Vista Guide DirectTV Data for FoodTV wrong

Is this issue related to the fact that my guide is now always "behind", and I only get 2, maybe 3 guide updates a weeks any more, vs. 6x as-normal? I'm looking at my guide data now, and the End Date is 08/28/2008, and it's the 18th...

Headend still DITV529-, version is 2687572837, and this has been going on for a couple of months, and has been discussed on-and-off here.

Re: Vista Guide DirectTV Data for FoodTV wrong

I was wondering if there was any update to this as well. I would also like to let you guys know that I didn't have this problem when I had DISH Network, it only started when I switched to DirecTV. I hope this helps.

Re: Vista Guide DirectTV Data for FoodTV wrong

Still waiting on an update to this. I was hoping this fix would be included in the October 2008 Cumulative Update for Media Center but it hasn't.

    Any word from anybody?
