Sorry for the late reply I have been on a VMWare course all this week.  I have one 2400i and one BlackgGold (total of 3 tuners).

The way that I did it was to export: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Media Center\Service\Video\Tuners\{GUID}\UserSettings\

and then change the {GUID} to the unconfigured card by editing it in notepad and doing a find and replace.  Once I did this I then double clicked the reg file and imported it that way.

It seem to work fine for me.  Hope this helps :o)

Thanks Phil, tried this with 1 2400i and 1 twinhan tuner and it works well. :-) I can't get 2x Cinergys to work though.

Your welcome.  I am currently having trouble with two Hauppauge Nova-T 500 cards as I ditched the Cinergy after having problems with it.

Just noticed on the Terratec FTP site. .283a drivers dated 17/03/2008

I used the new downoladed drivers and three things happened: 1) The usual no signal problem 2) Unbelieveably slow scanning for channels (1% progress per 1-2 mins in Vista Media centre!!!!) 3) It only found 7 of the available 80-ish channels.

My TV card now scans quickly, finds all the channels, plays back smoothly, sleeps, wakes up for recordings - generally does what I paid for!!!!

Strange I found them more reliable under Vista and finds more channels...

Haven't tried to see if they solve the disappearing when using S3 yet.

 

The newest betas (.284) are working fine for me, in South London (Crystal Palace also). Using 64-bit Vista.

However, the Terratec Cinema software is now crashing immediately (both the current stable release and the current beta). If I reset all the config, it crashes as soon as I hit scan. Very strange.
