I got it to work by right clicking on the .exe and choosing the COmpatibility tab. Then checked disable visual themes. That way it turns Aero off just when the application is running, then turns it back on when the app closes.

I also checked "Disable desktop composition". Set nothing for the compatibility mode dropdown, just the two checkboxes. Give that a try.

Re: MCEtilites v1.0 for XP/Vista MCE

Any chance of some directions for this? I installed it, ran it (on Vista after disabling Aero) and have no lcue what to do next. I have a Sony XL2 PC and three of the Sony changers. When I choose "medium changers" it lists all my movies, and slots (although all are listed as 1-200, even thought I have 3 changers). However, the first 8 movies are "Unlisted Movie" titles. Yet when I mount them, they seem to be DVDs that Media Center already has the info for, including the DVD art.

So, how do I actually get DVD info for the ones I figure out I need it for? I see the "Look up Info" selection when I right click on a DVD, but nothing seems to happen when I select it. Any help or direction would be great!

    Thanks!

Any updates on this?  The download link for this is currently broken.  Anyone know where to get the latest version?

    Thanks,

    Ian
