I just got an email with a replacement key. I updated the product key in the install I did a couple of days ago, and it works fine! (Right-click on Computer, and the link is at the bottom of the page)
That said, given all of the hassle it would have been nice if they had thrown in an upgrade or something, but I'm just happy to have everything working now!
