Hi There,

I was wondering if someone can help me with this. I just installed Yougle and everything is working fine, except for Google Videos. Everytime I select Google Video it hangs for a while and then I get an error that  'maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded' in the script gvdata.php. I dont get the same on YouTube or the others.

As far as I know one can normally increase the maximum execution time for scripts in some ini file for php, but I have no idea where to set this variable in this version of php.

Any ideas ?

I also cannot connect to Google Video and get the following message

Yougle could not find any results for your search. If this error appears on even basic listings, Google or Youtube may have made changes that disable this plugin.

This happens when I click on Browse Google Video

Any ideas???

This occurs whenever Google Video (or any of the providers) change the format of their website.

It looks like they've done it quite recently - I was working on Yougle 2 only this morning, and it's changed since then.

I'll try and get the new format sussed and Yougle updated to it tomorrow.

OK - I've updated the Google Video reader.

They've introduced the new 'Searching Google Video Also Searches Youtube' feature - which is what stopped Yougle from working correctly.

Because of this, I've removed 'Search' from the opening window of Yougle (but not for the individual providers) since Google now does it for me.

I've also patched up some of the DivX Stage 6 functionality, but viewing the channels still does not work correctly due to a fairly major site layout changes which have killed Yougle until v2 (the Vista version).

Please start Yougle and have a quick watch of some Youtube movies while the Google Video updates download.

If you continue to have problems, please mention it here and grab a new copy of Yougle from the website.

I did not even know it was broken before as I used it tonight for the first time in a while and you already had made the fix!

Im constantly amazed at the great contribution in both time and energy people like yourself put into products like this for free, without which media centre as a platform would be a very dull and stagnant affair.

Hi, big thanks for me, I am loving Yougle 0.5.2 which I downloaded last week.

I have noticed a couple of annoyances.
1) when I try and delete or backspace in the search window from my keyboard (standard UK) it seems to delete two characters per key press. I am not seeing this anywhere else in MCE. It seems specific to Yougle.

2) it sometimes takes a while to come back with the search results, and rather than a blank screen it would be nice to see it's doing something, rather than crashed. Is a 'completed %' graphic possible?

3) The same goes for hitting the back key, sometimes it takes ages and in my impatience I have often hit it twice by the time it jumps back two pages (grrr!). A 'doing something' indicator would be nice to have.

4) Finally is it possible to search by contributor? Is there a way to search by the username of the person rather than the movie's name and tags?

All of the above offered purely as constructive feedback... I think, as it is, this is the best MCE app I have seen!

Just downloaded and started trying out Yougle 0.6.2. It works really well. I only have a few comments/bugs/requests. I apologize if they have already been addressed in this thread, I didn't have time to read all of it. Thanks for the great software!

1. Typing into the search, why does it start with the number? Doesn't it make sense for most users to only have 3 taps for "F" instead of 4?

2. Pushing "Clear" for backspace deletes two characters.

3. How do you put a space in? I thought it was 0 but that doesn't do anything.

4. Will there be any way to move onto the pause button, or have it mapped into the remote to control the videos?

5. Could there be other ways to sort the results? Perhaps by popularity or by length? Would make it easier to find Top Gear episodes rather than short clips.
