Re: RE: Apple HD movies on your MCE

I tried the link on the first page and also now get a corrupt extraction. The only file that will extract correctly is downT.exe.config.

Does this new version fix the apple movie containing a ? in the title?

Re: RE: Apple HD movies on your MCE

I just downloaded the new zipfile, and it's corrupt. I repaired the file with Winrar and the files extracted perfectly.

Only problem with this great proggy is, that the error with a questionmark in the filename is still there Sad [:(]

Re: Apple HD movies on your MCE

    Hi

I have downloaded the packs as suggested and made the reg changes - everything is fine in terms of video which is crystal clear but I have no sound on any QT HD trailers. QT SD clips work fine for both sound & vision but on HD = no audio.

Any suggestions as to what settings I might need to change ? My HTPC is connected by spdif to my AV amp.

    Many thanks

I used to have this problem. I solved it my downloading the CCCP (Combined Community Codec Pack). I am also passing audio via SPDIF to an AV receiver.

    Smile [:)]Please remember

    • Backup before installing codecs in case they break your machine
    • Test TV / Video / Audio playback from all formats after installing them e.g. live tv / avi / music / recorded tv / divx/xvid etc..

    Good luck ! Smile [:)]

Re: Apple HD movies on your MCE

I installed this app on my mce... it does successfully connect and download the hd mp4 trailers where I want them.. that part is great.  I can NOT get them to play inside MCE however.

I've tried installing the CCCP codec pack, and the matroska file from pg1, which re-directs you to install the cccp pack however.

I still can not play the mp4 video's in mce... great app btw - to download the hd trailers automatically Big Smile [:D]

    any advice?

Re: Apple HD movies on your MCE

I'm trying to find out how I can download the HD movies and how this app did it, cause I'd really liked it. Now it seems that the author has stopped the development with this project, I guess I can try to make such application. But first of all I've to find out, how the application did it :-)
