    any updates to this?

I spoke with Paul Yanez (http://www.paulyanez.com/labs/framework/) a couple days ago, he says as soon as he's done working on a project he's dealing with now (which should be in a couple weeks), he'll work on a VMC plugin for Hulu.com

Take a look at the link and you'll see some of his work.

I'll keep you posted as I communicate with him.

    Re: Hulu.com anyone?

Not yet, but I spoke with Paul Yanez (http://www.paulyanez.com/labs/framework/) just friday and he's currently working on something for us.

He doesn't have a completion time as of yet but it shouldn't be long, one of his concerns was to know what we were most looking for.  I answered questions telling our first concern was to be able to watch Hulu via media center using the remote.

He says his plans for the app is to give us the Hulu access plus.

As soon as he has it ready he'll give us a link to try it out and give input as to what we'd like to see added as well as tweaks.

I'll give input as he updates me.

Can't wait to see what he comes up with.  Hulu has by far the best content section on the web.

+1 for MCX capabilities. This would be awesome on the 360!

    Re: Hulu.com anyone?

VMC plug-in Hulu.com would be truly awesome..especially if it worked with both Media Center PCs and Media Extenders.  Now I'd only need to find a way (paid & legal) to access live streams for my favorite news networks, MSNBC and CNN.  Combine those two with ATSC tuner and NetFlix...and I'm saying adios to my cable provider.

    Re: Hulu.com anyone?

It would appear that @ Paul Yanez's site he has already programmed a Hulu player, but a desktop version. Does anybody know the status of the VMC version of this player?

    From his site:

"The community has been asking me for an embeddable player, let's see how this player is received. I know I will be asked if this player could be combined with the feeds from my other players (shown above) which has content from the top web sharing sites such as Youtube, Google Video etc. Technically it would be no problem. Could this be made into a facebook app. Yes. I am more concerned in building out a framework that has access to all web video content and be accessible not only on the web, but on television. "

So I wonder if we all request this from him he will focus on a VMC player?

    * Intel Petium D 820 on Intel Desktop Board D945GNT
    * Hauppauge WinTV-PVR 150
    *VistaView DA-1N1-E Combo PCIe tuner
*Linksys extender - :( No more old extender, after upgrading to Vista. So sad.
