I have to agree this issue is *not* a HW problem... I have two systems with VMC and TV Pack (and one TV in the house that is QAM native as well). Cable TV here is Time Warner Digital Cable (Cary, NC). The two VMC systems are similar HW, but the TV tuners are different - primary system has dual AverMedia M780 combos, and the secondary system has a single ATI Theater Pro 650 combo. Primary system had the EPG download issue a week or two ago (failed to get updates), so I rebuilt it from scratch over this past weekend... EPG download is now working again, but there is one QAM channel swap: ABC 11.1 in the guide is really displaying ABC 11.3 content (weather subchannel). The secondary system (never touched recently, was working fine since TV Pack added) also now has this same channel swap, it must have happened ~last week as well. The TV in house picks up channels 11.1, 11.2, 11.3 all working fine, so Time Warner isn't the problem. I have not noticed this channel swap issue until ~last week on either system before.
So, based on my new channel swap issue, and a fresh OS re-build in the mix, with different TV tuners, I am pretty sure this is a SW-related (TV Pack) issue... the EPG issue is also apparently known (possibly related to this channel swap issue), and hopefully a Windows Update fix "soon" will help resolve them... I hope so!!
