It still appears that we (UK/DVB-T) are still getting an issue with programmes where we have a channel+1 setting. Yesterday, for example, there was a 2 hour movie on. The movie recorded fine for the 2 hours. However, there was a second recording of the movie on the +1 channel for an hour. The annoying aspect of this is that if you have a recording that was scheduled the second recording takes priority over it.

    Hi alastair

Please start a new thread for UK series that are not recording and provide series name and air time/date.  This thread started as NO issues and it's easier if we done get the threads crossed.

    Thanks

    Hi all

I am noticing quite a few programmes that do not have a series record option when there should be one. Is there a particular plae I ought to be reporting this?

    Thanks

    Hi

From experience, your best best is to start a separate new thread in this forum (MCE Service & Data Quality Issues) for each series which isn't recording, and to keep prompting for response every few days.

I had once successful resolution doing it this way (Merlin), although it did take 2 weeks...

I find it hard to believe that MS are not trying to find a proper resolution, rather than (still) expecting users to raise issues on a case by case basis. Or why can't MS just get somebody to go through a printed publication of the week's scheduled programmes (from which those that ares series will be obvious), check the Media Center guide, and then chase the providers themselves. Be a bit proactive on this issue for once. Sometimes it seems that there aren't any MS employees who actually use Media Center.

Thanks, I totally agree with you too. I dont really understand why the guide data is different though as I am still using DVB-T (primarily). Channel 4 is the one I notice the most, but it seems to be all C4 channels, and C5 too. Annoying !

Oh, and I forgot. Your best bet is to use this sort of 'proforma' reporting form from chrisboedy:

    Good luck!
