I bought 2 years ago an Acer Idea 500 with OS Window Media Center 2005, always works fine.
Acer Idea 500 has a TV tuner YUAN MPC718 inside and I was able to record TV show as well as I was able to watch TV show.
Now I have bought WHS OEM DVD and I have installed it on my pc.
When
I try to install TV tuner driver everything seem to be fine but at the
end of the driver installation WHS asks me for “yuanrap.sys” file and
when I find it my pc crashes

and it appears a blue screen:
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A problem has been detected and windows has been shut down to prevent damage to your computer.
If
this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your
computer. If this screen appears again, follow these steps:
Check to
be sure you have adequate disk space. If a driver is identified in the
stop message, disable the driver or check with the manufacturer for
drivers updates. Try changing video adapters.
Check with your
hardware vendor for any bios updates. Disable bios memory options such
as caching or shadowing. if you need to use safe mode to remove or
disable components, restart your computer, press f8 to select advanced
startup options, and then select safe mode.

I
have upgraded my BIOS. I sent an e-mail to Yuan but I hadn’t any
answer. How can I resolve the problem? How can I make my TV tuner to
work with WHS? Any idea is welcome.
