Combining 2 EPG sources from UK and Holland

    Hi -

I am using MCE 2007 with a satellite receiver/stb and I pickup programs from two different Astra satellites. I watch a series of Dutch channels for which I can load accurate EPG data when I configure the MCE Guide by selecting Holland as my home country. We also watch a number of UK and Irish based channels, for those I can get EPG data as well if I configure the Guide by selecting the UK or Ireland as my home country.

In MCE, my channel line up is a nice blend of both the ASTRA 2 based channels like ITV, BBC etc and ASTRA 1 based Dutch channels. Is there anyway to combine the EPGs for the two different sources/countries.

    Cheers

    Fred

With TV Pack you should be able to combine channels together. Its through the Tasks->Settings->tv->guide->Edit Channels->select channel you want to combine (to get to the edit channel page)->Edit Listings->choose the channel to combine into and then choose the combine option.

In WMC TVP8 (and other media centers) there's only one description stored for the program. The downloaded listings only come in one language. But the inband guide data extracted is in the language that it is sent in. So the guide can contain multiple languages, but each program entry will only be in one language.
