Samsung Plasma works fine with windows, but not with MCE

I have a HTPC that's been working flawlessly for the last year with a 37" Olevia LCD.  When I tried connecting a 50" Samsung plasma TV (FP-T5084), I can view the windows interface and watch DVDs using Windows Media Player, but my TV instantly gives me a "PC input not supported" screen when I open MCE.  If I hit "Alt-F4" to close MCE, my TV recognizes the PC again. I've tried many different resolutions, same issue each time.  Any suggestions?

I have: Windows Vista Ultimate w/ SP1, Nvidia GeForce 8600 GT Graphics card, using a DVI-to-VGA adapter

Never mind, I figured it out.  I had to change the refresh rate from 60 Hertz to 75 Hertz.
