MCE DVB-T Scan - No Services Found

    Hi,

I recently formatted my HDD and reloaded Windows XP Media Center 2005. I performed no hardware configuration changes and DVB-T worked fine before the re-install.

Since the re-install I am unable to watch DVB-T in Media Center. When I do a scan in Media Center it takes about 15 - 20 minutes and then displays the message "no services were found please check if your antenna and connections are installed properly". However DVB-T works fine with the Hauppauge WinTV software so it appears to be a Media Center issue.

I have updated the drivers and used the Media Center Diagnostic Kit and it passes the tests. I just can't figure it out, maybe an MCE guru can.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What tuner card are you using? I have a blackgold 6-in-1. I recently did a re-install of windows & MCE and had the same problem. I had left the tuner plugged in during the re-insall. In the end I took the tuner our, re-insatlled windows + mobo drivers + all updates etc. Then I installed the tuner. All works now.

You may find that simply removing the card, re-booting, then shutting down and re-insatlling the tuner card will help.

    Ben
