Changed Channels in Brutele (Now Voo), Brussels 1050 Since February 2007

    1.       CountryCode
    BE (Belgium)

    2.       PostCode
    1050

    3.       ServiceType (cable, sat, ota)
    Cable

    4.       ServiceProvider (name of service provider)

    5.       IssueType (list one)
A small number of channels are incorrect (new, moved, and changed channels).

    6.       Description (this includes what you’re seeing, and what you’d expect to see)
The following channels were changed to a new frequency in February 2007, and are thus wrong in Media Centre:

    Nederlands 1 (NOS1) moved to 224.25MHz
    Ketnet/Canvas moved to 495.25MHz
Kanaal 2 (now called 2BE) moved to 503.25MHz
RTBF La Une moved to 511.25MHz
    CNN moved to 527.25MHz

You can find a list of channels for this postcode on the Voo website, http://www.voo.be/files/customer/files/ProgrammesTV/1.pdf. In this PDF the changed, and thus incorrect in Media Centre, channels are in the GREY boxes. The same information is presented on both pages; page 1 is in French, page 2 is in Dutch.
I have reported this a few times over the last year using the link on the Microsoft web site (http://www.microsoft.com/belux/nl/windowsxp/mediacenter/using/guidesubmit.mspx, kindly provided by JessZahn when I asked here http://thegreenbutton.com/forums/permalink/190009/190515/ShowThread.aspx#190515) but unfortunately the changes haven't been implemented for one reason or another.

    *Bump*

Could anybody from BDS/Microsoft please comment. Perhaps I missed some necessary information, or didn't explain it well...

    Thanks in advance

Re: Changed Channels in Brutele (Now Voo), Brussels 1050 Since February 2007

    Hello M$ Representative:

After VOO has taken over just about all of the cable companies in central Belgium, our old provider Seditel (Postal Code 1400) has been defunct for about a year now and OUR channel frequencies have changed as well as their relative nominations...

Is there a way you could work your magic in doing what you did for the original poster and get VOO to seet things straight with their EPG Data and frequency assignments VIA M$ for Postal Code 1400?

    Thank you in advance...
