I am not sure exactly what happened, but when i try to play any of my wmv dvds stored on an external hard drive the playback volume is very low. this occurs in both windows media play and in window vista media center. All other playback volume is fine. if i play a mp3 in wmp or vmc the sound quality is fine. I have not clue what changed. at some point i plugged in a logitech headphones i am not sure if that has anything to do with it. i know the wmv files are at a normal level, because if i stream them to another pc the playback fine.
