I don't want to cross post too much, but wanted to let both the MCE2005 as well as Vista community know that Nextcom has released a true MCE driver (beta at the moment) for their R5000HD system. This should be an ideal HD solution.
This lets you bring digital HD in at the same quality as CableCard does to your Media Center PC. It supports Dish, DirecTV, ExpressVu, StarChoice, C-Band, Cable, & Voom. You don't need to buy a CableCard PC to make it work though.
We've been using ours for almost a year using a "clunky" and awkward method of bringing content into Media Center, but this new driver (once out of beta) should make everything a piece of cake and fully functional.
Please post comments in the main thread within the Vista HDTV forum.

BTW, it is also on sale right now for 20% off. My guess is they are trying to compete with the analog HD-PVR that Hauppauge has just started to sell (that doesn't support Media Center yet).
