Is there a way to toggle between full screen and the small window on the remote for MCE? Also, can the small window be adjusted in size somehow or are you basically stuck with what it is set at?

I ran into another problem with window sizing. For some reason now when I hit the "restore down" from a "maximized" window, MCE disappears to the taskbar. I am being very careful here and am not hitting the "minimize" icon. So now the only two options are a fully maximized window or no window. I must've hit something somewhere but I haven't seen any option anywhere that I might have accidentally enabled somewhere. Has this ever happened to anyone else (how did you fix it?)?

I've checked with my setup and I can get a sizeable window. I am doing this from VNC remote viewer. However I have only checked this when using a visualisation so far. Ahh just checked with live tv. This is also okay, but seems to only allow certain sizes (I think). Just to let you know that it should resize!!

Is it happening with other apps windows?

The resizing issue just seems to be with MCE. I also happened to stumble on how to resize by mistake. Apparently you can only mouse the lower right corner of the MCE window.

I still am also still having the problem however that my administrator user setting lost the ability to minimize in a small window, it just disappears. any ideas?

Did anybody ever give you any suggestions on this?  I have had the same problem for about a year and just put up with it.  It seemed to happen during or shortly after I did the MCE2005 upgrade on my HP 864n.  I suspect there may be a registry setting that we need to know about to fix this.   Anybody out there got any ideas??

yes, is at least 2 years that I live with it. just found this forum which looks promising for answers!

This is just a guess, but could it be reducing down to a window off the screen?

Try minimizing it and then alt-space, alt-m, and then the arrow keys to try blindly moving it back on screen.

Try it on a window thats on screen first to get a feel of how the arrows move the window.
