Not sure if others are trying to also find a solution for conversion to ipod (Mp4) , but I would like to start the discussion.

I was using MyTVtoGo, but it seems to work with Vista sometimes. I had to disable User Account Control and am able to get it to work manually. Readysync does not work at all for me.

Also tried InterVideo solution iVideoToGo, but cannot get it to convert dvr-ms even though they advertise it as Vista ready with a patch.

Just got a new Vista machine and had similar problems.

First was turn off UAC. There's now another option. Something in the advanced options of the exe attributes.

Brought up Mytvtogo in MCE and forced a ReadySync conversion. After that the taskbar ReadySync worked. Go figure. :)

Still can't believe there's not been an update for over a year for this software. I'd love to be able to configure for the iPhone/iTouch.

Ipodifier (http://www.ipodifier.com) works fine for me. It transcodes new recordings automatically and notifies itunes so it can sync to my ipod (touch).
