The BBC have been quite luke warm about supporting Windows Media Centre for
some time now - they had some news video available in Windows Media Centre 2005
online showcase, but it was a bit hit and miss as to whether or not it worked.
iPlayer on the other
hand is a fantastic vide delivery system from the BBC, but has only really been written for
desktop machines, not machines connected to your TV - the font is tiny, and it really needs a mouse to navigate.
Recently though, the BBC enabled the iPlayer for the Wii, and then to make matters even worse, someone hacked it to work on the PS3. That was just too much for me, so I
decided to write a Vista MCE interface for iPlayer.
You can download the installer from http://www.milliesoft.co.uk/
Due to BBC, ITV, C4 and Five restrictions, it only works for people in the UK, so sorry everyone else, this isn't a hack to
get round that. Underneath it still uses the respective web sites to get the data -
it just transforms it in to an MCE interface.

Help?
I would like to do is to implement a busy spinning icon when
it is querying up a new channel or day or category, but I don't know how to do
that. If anyone has an mcml sample for that, let me know please.
Finally, it must be installed in C:\Program Files\MillieSoft\TunerFreeMCE, because
I hardcoded a file link to that in the code. Might be an issue for any 64bit
people out there, but you can just copy the files to that directory if you
like.
Feedback is welcome!
Thanks
Martin
