Media Center and Me

This blog details my experiences and those of my family living with Media Center, as well as my professional experiences working for or with companies for the past five years to develop and advance the Media Center platform.

CES Video Log: Windows Media Center Edition

Some random thoughts on the presence of Windows Media Center at CES, a look  in the NextGen home, and ithe latest from Silicon Dust.

MSN limits you to 100 MB so I went with You Tube for this one:

I fly out today, but I have a camera full of content to play with for the next few weeks.

Good times.

Great video! I especially enjoyed the SiliconDust information. I hope they seriously look into the cablecard/satelite stuff.

The Windows Home Server guy talking about the lack of integration between MC and their product is a perfect example of why M$ is slowly losing market share to other OS's.  Microsoft's lumbering ship has gotten so large, and so difficult to steer that they can't even get their products with blaring similarities to work together.  WHS should have been built from the very beginning with the mindset that it MUST work seamlessly and flawlessly with Media Center.  How could it not?  I'm completely baffled at this.
