Their system enables full interaction with Windows Media Center via a voice controlled remote control and it offers a whole range of possibilities . This week Garry Whittiker and Jason Coombs join me to discuss networked tuners using DVBLink, Jason has all his tuners pooled in a Windows Home Server and then is using DVBLink to distribute the tuners around the network. Its an interesting solution and takes us closer to having a centralised TV tuner system. Jason is also streaming TV via DLNA to devices like PS3 and over the internet.

Welcome to the the TDL Awards show. At the end of last year you voted for your favourite Media Center apps and answered questions on your digital lifestyle so this week Missing Remote's Mike Garcen joins me to reveal the winners and to talk about some of the statistics from the votes.

Mike and I discuss the results and find out stats like what percentage of voters use Windows Home Server, how many are running Extenders and how many of you have switched to Windows 7.Thanks to everybody that voted and that sent in the nominations.

With this app you can browse the EPG and schedule recordings via a web browser (including mobile phone browsers), this is a feature missing in Media Center since the changes to Windows 7 broke the fabulous Webguide addin. Podcast: The Media Center Show #240 - Final CES 2010 Interviews

This is the final batch of interview from CES. I have Arcsoft talking about how to get 3D movies in Windows Media Center using Total Media Theatre, they have some great solution for movie watching in Media Center including HD audio and upscalling. Of course 3D requires special hardware and so I talked with Nvidia about the hardware needed to get 3D working on the PC.

The Zune team where at CES talking about the progress they have made over the last year including launching the Zune HD and the Zune marketplace in the Xbox 360, so I talked to Michael Yaeger from the Zune team about the current state of Zune

Garry took a trip down to see Pronto from Phillips about their remote control devices including devices that can control Sonos systems.

The final section wraps up the week with a chat with Bjorn Morris from Cybersmart systems who had his first trip to CES and we find out what caught his eye at the show

This week I am in Las Vegas at the Consumer Electronics Show and I have a great collection of interviews for you. In part one of the CES coverage I have pre and post keynote chat from bloggers Andrew Edney, Terry Walsh, Jim Clark, Dave McCabe and Garry Whittker plus interviews from Avermedia talking TV tuners including placeshifting and HD-PVR, D-Link taking about there network products including the new Boxee box.

Garry has been integrating his Virgin Media cable box with Windows Media Center and he explains how he got it connected using a vararity of tools. The solution Garry talks about is not just for connecting Virgin boxes as its really a way of getting unsupported formats into Media Center and could be used with any cable box or even security systems.
