So we've finally been seated at the Gates Keynote, after waiting nearly 5 hours and having to deal with the scum that is the majority of the human race, actually not everyone is all bad just the hundred or so people that decided they were above the rest of us and couldn't wait in line and insisted on cutting in front of us. But anyway, we're seated along with roughly a thousand other people all waiting for the actual fun to start.

Bill Gates is introduced and is going over how great the last "Digital Decade" was and how the next one will be even better. Since this is his last keynote they are showing a video montage about how he will be spending the rest of his life. Quite funny. :-)

6:50pm
The focus for the next Digital Decade will be focused on Connected Experiences, having access to HD content everywhere. Every device being Surface touch aware.

7:10pm
Here we go... President of the Entertainment Division has a few things to say... a few announcements:
Disney and ABC to bring shows directly to Xbox Live.
MGM is bringing it's library of films to Xbox Live as well.
Samsung and HP will be introducing new Media Center extenders. Meh, we already knew this.

I'm starting to get very disappointed. Let's hope there is more. Check back shortly.
