This message is coming to you all live from CES. Can you all feel the energy flowing? I sure can. Here I sit, camped outside the Gates Keynote Conference Hall, being eyed suspiciously by Gates Secret Service (we're technically not allowed to linger until 2PM, the actual Keynote starts at 6:30PM (Pacific Time). Here I sit pondering if all of my dreams will come true and some truly outstanding Media Center related technologies will be announced (or at least exit Vaporware status... *cough* DirecTV *cough* or if all of my dreams will be completely crushed and our community will yet again be ignored.

I have high hopes for this year’s CES. There has been a lot of buzz lately about IPTV. New methods for getting HD content. Exciting new display technologies and all sorts of other goodies have been hinted at over the past month or so. Only time will tell, but thankfully, we're only talking a few more hours before our answers start to trickle in.
